Parallel and Distributed Processing: My work in this area has been focused in the development of efficient interconnection networks for applications in image processing and target detection where we utilized the pyramid architecture.

Computer Architecture: In this area I have been involved in the development of high performance microprocessors based on VLIW and superscalar technology for applications in multimedia and DSP.

VLSI Design: I have developed a RISC and ATM transceiver chips for application
in high speed communication and microcontrol.
