Identifying a project can be a challenge. DON'T WAIT! There are usually several major competition projects offered (highlighted above), but not always. To find a project you can either:
(1) check with MAE faculty members to see if they have a project that might interest you; you should have received a list of faculty-proposed projects by email
or
(2) form a group and project idea, and then approach a faculty member who has a related research interest or with whom you have had a class (generally one that you enjoyed)
Faculty supervision and approval is required for all senior projects
