The integration of WWW and distributed object technology is an ideal solution for deploying distributed object technology to the huge application base of WWW and for providing WWW a object-oriented design with scalability and robustness for mission-critical business applications. However, there exists little in-depth study or work toward building an architecture of integrating WWW and distributed objects for the next generation client-server computing. This workshop will seek to address topics in this area and provide insights toward a seamless integration of both technologies.
The objective of this workshop is to bringing together researchers, architects, developers, and users to jointly discuss any technical issue or experience for topics such as
Prospective participants are invited to submit a position paper or experience report (no more than 5 pages) preferably in HTML. The deadline for submission is August 5, 1996. Notification of acceptance will be made by August 20, 1996.
