Career Profile

In general, my career interests consist of being challenged at the technical level and rewarded at the interpersonal level.
I have a strong interest in team-oriented environments and in interaction with groups and departments of different technical nature.

In particular, I am interested in technical leadership positions involved in complex systems.
I consider California locations only.

Academic Profile

I received my Ph.D. from UC Irvine's School of Engineering, after working at the Advanced Computer Architecture Laboratory.
I enjoyed my days at UCI in general and at the lab in particular.
I graduated in Winter 1996.

My research interests include algorithm development, parallel and distributed systems, fault-tolerant computing, image processing, networking and communication systems and protocols. I am also interested in setting and analyzing policies within my technical areas of expertise, particularly in computer privacy and safety.
